ORANGE CAP

The one who scores most run in the season will get the "Orange cap". The individual can wear the Orange cap while he is in the field so that people all around the world can get to know that, he is the player who has score maximum number of runs. Brandon Mccullum was the first player who wore the Orange cap and Shaun Marsh became the first person who won the orange cap with the 616 runs which is the most number of runs in IPL's first season.

PURPLE CAP

It was introduced on 13 may 2008 after the official announcement of Orange cap. Here also, the palyer can wear the Purple cap while he is in the field. It represent the palyer with the most number of 'wickets taker'. Sohail Tanvir was the first player who took maximum wicket and finally managed to get the Purple cap of the IPL season 2008.

MOST NUMBER OF SIXES

It is also another reward give by the Indian Premier League to those players who hits the maximum numbers of sixes in a single Indian Premier League's season. The individual player don't get any cap but he will be rewarded for his achievement. In 2017 Glenn Maxwell hit 26 sixes in the season and got the word for the most number of sixes. While in 2012 Chris Gayle hit 59 sixes in a single season whose record is still seems to be unbreakable.

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER

Most valuable player also know as "the man of the tournament" was given to the leader.
This award came in 2013. Now it is know as "the Golden Player" in Ipl. Shane Watson was the first player who received this award, after that Adam Gilchrist won this awars by leading the Deccan Chargers.
